But is actually made with healthy ingredients—such as almond milk, almond butter, frozen bananas, chia seeds,Greek yogurt, cocoa powder…and perhaps frozen berries or figs,
And is a great source of antioxidants….our actual subject at hand.
1/2C nonfat or lowfat Greek yogurtplain, strawberry or vanilla
1C skim, coconut, or almond milk
1Tbsp unsweetened dark cocoa powder...(be sure to use dark cocoa powder because this will make it super chocolatey and gives it an extra boost of anti-oxidants)
1tsp chia seeds
1Tbsphoney, if you want to make the smoothie sweeter
1C frozen strawberries…(frozen strawberries will give you the thick and frosty consistency that you want without needing to add any ice. If you are using fresh berries on hand, add about 1/2C cup of ice so that you can get the perfect thickness.).
1 frozen banana
You know the drill by now…Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend until well combined.
