Going to the library with a three year old can be quite a challenge…so I have decided to make my goal for each month’s Dropping Off the Kids” segment a review of a book that we have read recently.

Choosing the right book for your child first of all depends on knowing the child and his interests.

Factors that could help you choose the perfect book include pictures, graphics, the title, the author, and reviews by other people.

Try to read from the vantage point of your child, taking notes on the book’s key points and any particular passages you might discuss in your review.

Finally write a brief summary about what you and your child honestly thought about the book.
